People used to see policemen as individuals who will keep them safe and ensure that the public can walk the streets without fear of being mugged or hurt.

However, it would seem that with the number of abuses and scandals that have surfaced, the way the public view police officers has somehow shifted.

Thanks to unscrupulous and power-hungry officers who use their position to get what they want.

One example is a police officer from Iloilo who came to the jail at around 1 a.m., not to inspect the inmates but to force a female inmate to perform an oral job on him.

The officer, according to TNP and who got the news from RMN Network Iloilo, was PO3 Miguel Jancilan of the Mandurriao Police.

The said police officer could be charged criminally for his deed.

These women surely wouldn't give in to this police officer.
