Cesar Montano has fond memories of a lovely date with Dayanara Torres

- Dayanara Torres is expected to return to the Philippines to judge the Miss Universe 2016 on January 30

- And actor-turned-COO of Tourism Promotions Board Cesar Montano is very much aware of her comeback

- Dayanara who won Miss Universe in 1993 was Cesar's leading lady in the 1999 movie "Type Kita, Walang Kokontra" under Star Cinema

The action star was grateful to know that the 42-year-old Puerto Rican will be arriving anytime soon in Manila.

“I’m so happy. Thank you for coming back. You are welcome in our country," he said.

Ceasr, who recalled a film where they both starred, also looks forward to reunite with the former beauty queen.

“Siyempre, gumawa kami ng pelikula noon under Star Cinema, Type Kita, Walang Kokontra. Excited ako to see her. Sana magkita kami uli,” he noted.

As reported by PEP.ph, the Department of Tourism official couldn't help but laugh after being reminded of the time when he and Dayanara attended mass in Ermita Church.

“Well, actually, namasyal kami, sumakay kami ng speedboat sa Pasig River," he shared.

"Naku, hiyang-hiya ako kaya talagang dapat malinis yun!” he added.

The Tourism Promotions Board head promised to tidy up the river and perform his sworn duty.

“Gagawin ko talaga ang paraan para magkaroon ako ng confidence to promote it. Lahat ng makikita ko na mali, sasabihin ko na dapat ayusin talaga ito," he vowed.
