Chinese woman tumbles down escalator after losing her footing

CCTV footage of a Chinese woman wearing high heels and then tumbling down the escalator has gone viral, with netizens finding the video both painful and funny to watch.

The video shows the woman having some difficulties in finding her footing at the escalator step.
Unfortunately, she completely lost her balance and then came tumbling down the steps. She was also visibly in agony as she sat down after the shocking and embarrassing accident.

Many netizens urged other women to avoid wearing high heels as much as possible in order to avoid accidents.
“Yung mga babae maganda flat shoes na lang kasi mas mahirap talaga maglakad at magbalance kapag naka high heels. Kapag may emergency pa mahirapan ka pa tumakbo o tumakas. Pero kung hindi talaga maiwasan, doble ingat na lang kapag nasa escalator,” a social media user said.
(Women should just wear flat shoes because it really is more difficult to walk and balance when wearing high heels. It would also be easier to run and escape in flat shoes if there is an emergency situation. But if wearing high heels could not be avoided, just be extra careful when riding an escalator.)
