Young boy punches and defeats jewelry store robber

An unbelievable CCTV footage showing a 12-year-old boy stopping an armed robber in a jewelry store by throwing a karate punch in his stomach went viral.

The video shows the masked hold-upper entering a store as the innocent boy opened the door for him.
After the robber drew out his gun, the boy quickly reacted to the situation by grabbing the criminal’s arm and then throwing a vicious punch right in his stomach.

These quick actions from the boy visibly shocked the robber, forcing him to flee as the boy’s father rushed to the scene to try and help out.
Netizens were deeply impressed with the real-life Karate Kid.

“Ipa training ko rin yung anak ko sa karate para marunong siyang ipagtanggol ang sarili at ang kapwa mula sa masasama. Kailangan lang may disiplina para alam niyang hindi ginagamit ang martial arts sa pang bully kundi sa pag protekta,” a netizen commented.
(I would also like my child to undergo martial arts training so that he could protect himself and his fellow men from bad people. However, he needs to be disciplined in order for him to know that martial arts should be used for protecting others and not for bullying.)
