James Reid’s mother clarifies rumors about his relationship with Nadine

With 2016 coming to a close, you would think that bashers of James Reid and Nadine Lustre would at least give the reel and real couple a rest, but no.
A couple of days before we welcomed a new year, a fan account of JaDine tried to reach out to James Reid’s mother on Twitter pertaining to a rumor that has been circulating online.

The profile tagged James’ mother, Maria Aprilyn Marquinez but uses the name Ella on her page, and attached a screenshot of the story written by one of the duo’s naysayers.
According to the photo, Twitter user @itsshnnkrstncrz coincidentally dined in a same restaurant with James’ aunt who only sat at the table beside hers in Bolinao. The alleged aunt claimed to be related to James by saying that his mother and her husband are siblings. One of the people who was with the aunt perked up and asked about Nadine, to which the latter denied that the two are having an authentic relationship.

To add more salt to the wound, when asked whether Nadine is beautiful or not, the alleged relative of James replied that Liza Soberano is the gorgeous one.
The rumor captured the attention of James’ mother and vehemently denied the accusations in a series of tweets.

As for her stand on Nadine’s beauty, she explained that the basher is obviously making up stories since the actress is beautiful ‘inside out.’
James’ half-sister, Chantal Calicdan, also expressed her disagreement with the story.
