In various iterations of these said shows, Pinoys have slayed to the top with their amazing renditions of popular songs.
The latest Filipino talent to make waves is blind singer Katchry Jewel Golbin, alias Alienette Coldfire.

The blind singer made it to the grand finals of "La France a un Incroyable Talent" (France Got Talent), which is the country's version of the popular talent competition franchise.
On Tuesday night, judges Eric Anthony, Helene Segara, Gilbert Rozon, and Kamel Ouali were blown away with her rendition of "Les Moulins de Mon Coeur" (The Windmills of Your Mind) by legendary French artist Michel Legrand during the competition's semi-finals.
She also got a standing ovation from everyone in the studio for her heart-warming performance.

Now that she has advanced to the finals, she will be competing alongside Antonio, Leah, Nathan, Barcode Trio, and six other talents.
Katchry, who hails from Iloilo, shared that she learned how to speak French with her online friends three years ago.
Despite the fame she has reached now, her stint in the competition is not her first as she auditioned for 'Pinoy Idol' back in 2008.

One of the defunct show's judges, Ogie Alcasid, commended her singing prowess and encouraged her to also try her luck in other competitions.
Katchry's talent also got the attention of Filipina-French beauty Solenn Heussaff, who helped her get to France.
Her achievement is another instance of Pinoy pride, since she has proved that her disability does not hinder from doing the thing she loves the most.
