Vice Ganda’s latest movie offering, “The Super Parental Guardians” grossed a whopping P68 million on the first day of opening!
Vice didn’t take the credit for himself but dedicated the opening day to the late Direk Wenn Deramas.
Vice tweeted a picture of him and the other major cast of the movie which included “Ang Probinsiyano” star Coco Martin,
In the comedian’s tweet, he was sharing his success to Direk Wenn. He also thanked the director for preparing him. He also said that he hopes he is making Direk Wenn proud and happy.
Vice also said that he misses the late director.
“I share this success to you Direk Wenn! Thank you for preparing me for this day. I hope I'm making you happy and proud. I miss you Mader!” tweeted Vice.
It can be recalled that Vice Ganda and Direk Wenn have worked on blockbuster movies like “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin” and “Beauty and the Bestie.”

According to Star Cinema, the two films combined grossed more than P1 billion.
At the moment, “The Super Parental Guardians” holds the highest opening gross for a local film. It has surpassed “A Second Chance” and “My Bebe Love.”
