- A photographer revealed that Mocha Uson was supposed to be on the Esquire Philippines, not Leni Robredo
- The photog added that it was simply work for both of them and gave Mocha some advice to turn down offers she will hate others for doing
- Mocha posted a meme claiming Esquire is a biased publication siding with VP Leni of the Liberal Party
Mocha Uson recently called out Esquire magazine for being a biased publication. Gracing the cover is vice president Leni Robredo.
However, a post from a photographer Joseph Pascual revealed that Mocha was supposed to be on the cover of the said issue. Pascual claimed that he had a shoot with Mocha for Esquire. Pascual even posted photos of the said shoot.
The post reads,
“I photographed you for Esquire and you were supposed to be on that cover.
It was work for me, just how it was work for you to show up, and work for everyone involved to do their part. The publishing industry extends beyond glamorous looking magazine covers. This industry involves countless jobs and real man hours. It is work.
Photographing you that day was work. And you and I got through our photo shoot despite your nerves and my personal opinions of what your [sic] are doing to my country.
It is disappointing to see you lambast someone for doing something you yourself were so grateful to have done.
Maybe next time, turn down offers for the things you’ll hate others for doing.”
Netizens are merciless in criticizing Mocha as some people think that she was bitter for not being on the cover. Moreover, she was replaced by someone from the opposing political party. Mocha has found fame being an avid supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Details of what happened why Esquire replaced Mocha to be on their cover remain unknown as the magazine is mum on the whole incident.
