According to PO3 Eleazar Llanes of the Cordova police, a team which he led responded to a call from PO1 Ricky Pepito who is also a member of Cordova police. Pepito happened to be at the doctor's clinic past 2 p.m. to consult his insomnia when he saw a suspiscious man giving a small package to Degamo.

Pepito then approached Degamo and found two small plastic sachets on his hands containing suspected shabu. Unfortunately, the drug courier managed to escape.
