NAIA passenger left 3-month-old baby to a stranger

- A female passenger left her child to another woman at the NAIA on Friday

- The airport's general manager said that the mother gave her 3-month-old son to Myrna Pasacao of Las Pinas and promised to return after half an hour

- Identified as Vilma Lastima, the mother has yet to claim her baby

One innocent baby was left by his own mother on Friday, November 25, at the Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

According to reports, the passenger has just arrived from Jordan when she handed over her three-month-old son to a woman she hardly knows.

The child's mother who is from Maco, Davao, was identified as Vilma Lastima.

Ed Monreal, general manager of the airport narrated how the baby ended up to Myrna Pasacao of Las Pinas.

Monreal said Lastima promised to come back in 30 minutes after she gave her child to Pasacao.

Half an hour has passed but, there is no trace of Lastima.

The airport general manager said that the incident has been documented and they are planning to surrender the child to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) while waiting for Lastima's return and get her son back.

Meanwhile, officials of NAIA are hopeful to hear from Lastimosa soon and redeem her baby.
