- He clarified having supported the senator, and the president during the recent election
During his appearance before the House of Representatives on Thursday, November 24, Ronnie Dayan admits having supported both President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Leila De Lima's electoral campaign.
The alleged lover of Senator De Lima admitted that his support for Duterte was known to De Lima, and that he received a beating for it.

In his statement, Dayan had said, "Nung pumunta ako sa Maynila may suot akong baller na 'Duterte.' Pinalo ako ni Ma'am nung makita niya."
He also clarified that the senator had questioned why he was wearing the baller and had tagged Duterte as 'sira-ulo'.
"Sabi niya (De Lima), 'mag-a-idol ka na lang 'yung siraulo pa'," Dayan said.
He also claimed having defended his idol by saying, "E 'yan ang presidente ko, 'yan ang idol namin sa Pangasinan."
"Walang basagan ng trip," he added, which was allegedly rebuked by De Lima with a single statement, "P***eta ka."
Ronnie Dayan was the alleged lover and drug money collector of Senator Leila De Lima at the National Bilibid Prison. He was arrested on Tuesday, November 22, after he chose to snub earlier invitations to testify before the House of Representatives.
