- Solenn Heussaff might be known as one of the country's "It Girls" along with Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza and Liz Uy, but the Filipina-French model is not just a pretty face
- The Kapuso celebrity has long proven that she is a woman of many talents, and she never fails to deliver
- Aside from being an actress, a TV host, a professional make up artist, and a model, she is a good painter, too!
Solenn Heussaff is totally up for girl power.
On Thursday, Solenn showcased one of her treasured masterpieces at the launching of Artgap 2016 Painting Exhibit held at the GMA Network Center.
Artistically colored in black and white with a touch of gold, she called her painting of a nude woman "Stand."
Her elegant work of art features a female who pulled her shirt up to reveal her breasts while standing.
"They should just stand by what they believe in and they shouldn't be ashamed for it. Kaya up 'yung shirt niya, she's still standing strong. Even if you bare her from all her dignity, she's still be there to face [anything],” Solenn who aims to portray women empowerment through painting said.
"Women are warriors nowadays. They don't have to be the support system of their families," she furthered.
However, just because she chose women as her subject doesn't mean she dislikes men.
"I love men, [but] parang hindi magandang mag-paint ng men. Mas sensual 'yung babae (it does not seem lovely to paint men. Women are more sensual)," she said.
The actress' "Stand" painting is for sale and the proceeds will be donated to GMA Kapuso Foundation.
A woman with a mission she is.
Meanwhile, Solenn also shared that she plans to feature street children in her paintings next year.
