A minor fight on Sunday night at a bar in India, turned deadly. The scuffle, which started at a bar called Cloud7 in the city of Nagpur, ended with the murder of a 21-year old man.
A big scandal has accompanied these killings, after news came out that the sons of a member of the Legislative Assembly from one of India’s major political parties were involved.
Rohit and Abhijit Khopde, Krishna Khopde’s children, were friends with the deceased. Khopde forms part of the Bharatiya Janata Party
Shubham Mahakalkar, 21, resident of Mahal, was allegedly stabbed to death by the bar owner’s son.
Abhilash is also being charged with attempted murder. He reportedly injured Sunny, the bar’s son, by hitting him on the head with a bottle.
He had apparently trashed the place before with his brother and other people. Shubham had not been involved in the scuffle.
