- The incredible video has gone viral across the internet and garnered a lot of hype for the upcoming documentary movie
The jaguar is known as the predator with one of the most powerful jaws. It’s jaw strength is so massive and its prey is what are often considered apex predators in their habitat.
For that the jaguar is often nicknamed the “killer or killers” as labelled by popular BBC anchor Sir David Attenborough.
The large predator does not even bother with sneaking up on its prey. In the video it can be seen boldly approaching a waterhole. Capybaras flee the jaguar but it doesn’t even bother running after them.
The jaguar entered the water and pounced on a caiman that could have easily been mistaking for a log floating in the murky water.
"Jaguars have the most powerful bite of any cat, and he knows the caiman's most dangerous point, the back of its skull," narrates Sir Attenborough.
The jaguar’s powerful jaws crush the crocodile’s skull like a hydraulic press with an audible crack.
The video is from the upcoming Planet Earth movie and has raised an incredible amount of hype across the internet.
