Japan Embassy denies no-visa entry for Pinoys

Japan Embassy denies reports on allowing visa free travel for Filipinos. The statement was made after malicious reports circulating on social media stating that the country has allowed free travel for Filipinos bound to Japan starting on June.

The statement read, “Recently, false news have been circulating regarding the Japanese Visa for nationals of the Philippines, Indonesia and Viet Nam. The news mentioned that Japan has lifted its Visa for the Philippines, Indonesian and Vietnamese."

The Embassy and Consular office of Japan in the Philippines said however that Japan has opened multiple-entry Visas to nationals of the Philippines, Indonesia and Viet Nam.

Japan will continue to accept and deliver visa applications for Japan through accredited agencies.

For details about the visa application and issuance of multiple-entry visa, you can refer to the information at Japan Embassy Philippines.

The public can also visit the same site to view listed accredited agencies and possible consular services from Japanese Embassy.
