Novelty singer and comedian Joseph Formoran Amoto, popularly known as Blakdyak, was found lifeless around 6pm on Monday, November 21, in his home in Sampaloc, Manila.
According to reports, the comedian's head was covered with a plastic bag.
Police are still investigating whether there was a foul play in his death.
Other details after the thorough inspection is still yet to be released.
Blakdyak became famous for his 90s hits "In Lab," "Asin at Paminta," "Noon at Ngayon," and "Modelong Charing."
His most notable movie projects include "Weyt a minit, kapeng mainit," "Gangland," and "S2pid Luv."
He made notorious headlines last 2014 after his arrest because of alleged malicious mischief, alarm and scandal as well as illegal possession of drug paraphernalia found in his place in Cubao, Quezon City.
Nevertheless, the actor recovered from his fall, was able to rise again, and go on with life.
Blakdyak has soon topbilled gigs and shows and was working on a new project with acclaimed singer and songwriter Lito Camo.
