- Star Cinema dropped the trailer of Vice Ganda’s new movie “The Super Parental Guidance” co-starring Coco Martin
- The film did not make it as one of the eight entries at the Metro Manila Film Festival this year
- There are rumors that “The Super Parental Guidance” showing date is on or before December 25
UPDATE: Star Cinema and Vice Ganda confirmed that “The Super Parental Guidance” will be shown on November 30 in cinemas nationwide.
After its controversial drop from the Metro Manila Film Festival, Vice Ganda’s new movie “The Super Parental Guidance” showing is reportedly on December 25 or earlier.
Star Cinema dropped the official trailer of “The Super Parental Guidance” starring Vice Ganda and Coco Martin. The film marks the second movie of Coco with Vice after their blockbuster tandem in the 2015 movie “Beauty and the Bestie”.
Based from the trailer, the hilarious film will also star child wonders of primetime TV – Onyok Pineda and Awra Briguela. Both children are mainstays of “Ang Probinsyano”. The trailer did not reveal the exact showing date of the film.

There are speculations that the showing of “The Super Parental Guidance” is on or before the MMFF. In the voice over of the trailer, it says, “Inihahandog ng Star Cinema ang isang maagang pamasko…” which hinted an early December release of the film.
This is further supported by Vice’s recent tweet stating that it is his vow to bring joy every Christmas season.

On November 7, Vice stated that his film was already submitted as an entry for the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) beating the deadline set by the MMFF which was on November 2. However, the film was not selected as one of the eight entries to be shown in the film festival.
