After President Rodrigo Duterte granted actor Robin Padilla an absolute pardon, the new daddy is planning to visit his wife Mariel Rodgriguez and their newborn baby girl Isabella in the United States.
Mariel gave birth to her first child with Robin on Monday, Novemmber 14 in Delaware in the US. The Kapamilya host constantly called her husband to give updates on her delivery. Because Robin was not by his wife's side during her labor, he is planning to visit his two girls in the States.
"Eh kasi yun lang naman ang laging sinasabi sa akin. Kasi pag dini-deny ako yan ang laging sinasabi eh, dahil may prior conviction. Medyo malaki talaga na tinik na nawala. Ako ay umaasa na itong linggong ito sa mga development na nangyayari ay magmula noong sumulat ang ABS-CBN na sa ilalim ng pagtulak ni Ms. Linggit (Tan). Hindi pa ako nakakita ng ganito kaliwanag na daan.”
"Basta makasama ko. Hindi naman ako magiging maselan kung anong ibigay sa akin ng US embassy eh. Totoo po ito galing ito sa puso ko kahit bigyan lang niyo ako ng tatlong araw, walang problema sa akin yun.”

The action star was convicted in 1994 for illegal possession of firearms. He was then pardoned by Former President Fidel Ramos in 1997, yet he was not permitted to travel.
Recently, President Duterte granted Robin an absolute pardon for the full restoration of his political and civil rights including his right to vote and seek public office, and his right to travel and be issued a Philippine passport.
