- A morgue employee from Ohio admitted in court that he may have had sex with as many of 100 corpses of dead women
- His wife tipped off the authorities but he continued with his necrophiliac activities
- He claimed that his shocking behavior was attributed to drug and alcohol abuse
Kenneth Douglas was employed at a Hamilton County morgue and has been linked via DNA to the abuse of the bodies of three women - Charlene Appling, April Hicks and Karen Range.
He said in his deposition that if sober he would not consider such heinous acts, but if he used crack cocaine or drank he would 'go in'.
Two of the three bodies he admitted to having sex with had been murder victims.
Their families are suing Hamilton County. Legal representatives for the defense say that the county and taxpayers should not be held responsible for the criminal actions of employees.
Douglas' wife had apparently been dismissed after reporting her husband's behavior. She said he would come home from work and 'reek'.
He is currently serving time for the horrendous acts.
