- Hashtag Ronnie Alonte is rumored to be going solo since he will have his first concert on December 17
- The most popular member of the group denied the speculations, stating he will stick with his crew no matter what happens
- Ronnie will also be appearing in Star Cinema's upcoming film 'Vince and Kath and James'
Is Hashtag member Ronnie Alonte going on his separate way?
People have speculated that he will go solo since popular noontime show 'It's Showtime!' is looking for a new member to join the all-male group.
Another information that bolsters his leave is that he is about to stage his first solo concert titled #KiligKing.
However, he denied that was the case when he was interviewed by reporters on the press conference for his upcoming concert.
"Hinding hindi ko po iiwan ang Hashtags kahit ano pong mangyari sa akin kasi po doon po ako nag-start eh," he said.
(I will never leave Hashtags no matter what happens to me because that was where I started.)
The 20-year-old dancer added that he will still be in 'It's Showtime!' even if his schedule might get packed for the next few weeks.
"Hangga’t kaya po ng oras ko, magsasayaw at magsasayaw pa rin po ako sa Showtime," he claimed.
(As long as my schedule can take, I will continue to dance in Showtime.)
Despite his solo effort, his crew has nothing but their all-out support - they will also perform a number as a whole.
Another project that is taking Ronnie's time is his first film with Star Cinema, 'Vince and Kath and James'.
The movie will also star Julia Barretto, Joshua Garcia, and Maris Racal.
We are proud that Ronnie will stick to his group even if he is being built up to become a bigger star. Just like him, we are also pleased that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerburg has reached out to our Nigerian brothers.
