- New Hampshire police released videos of a deadly shooting
- The suspect died
- The perpetrator had been hurt in what looked to be a self-inflicted knife wound, before the police arrived
Authorities in New Hampshire released body camera videos which captured the fatal shooting of a man in Grafton County.
The footage shows a 41-year-old man holding a knife and running away from officers, back in July.
The man turns back and sees police are in his pursuit. The entire footage shows videos from three different body cameras, as well as another one from a police car dashcam.
The criminal, who goes by the last name Esty-Lennon, had crashed his car into an abandoned bridge, and was walking away with a blood stain on his shirt.
Esty-Lennon does not obey the police officers’ orders to stop. They also tell him to drop the knife. At some point Esty-Lennon walks towards them, but then runs away again. He afterwards stops once more, turns, and that is the moment the shots are fired.
