It has been reported recently that Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump had a long talk on the phone.
A week hadn’t passed since Donald Trump was elected as the next President of the United States Putin has called him to discuss the problem of global terror and how the two countries with the largest armies in the world could work together to combat it.
The two have allegedly agreed to work together to combat the growing threat and “combine efforts to tackle international terrorism and extremism.”
Putin stated that it would be beneficial to both countries that they should return to a mutually advantageous cooperation that would benefit both countries and that the world would be a safer place to live in as a consequence.
The two leaders agreed to be in contact and continue their discussions by phone until they can meet in person.
Trump’s office previously stated previously: "President-elect Trump noted to President Putin that he is very much looking forward to having a strong and enduring relationship with Russia and the people of Russia."
