The moment everyone has been waiting for will finally happen - British band Coldplay is going to perform in Manila for the first time next year.
The band's vocalist, Chris Martin, recorded a message for their Filipino fans through the Instagram account of Music Management International.
“This is Chris of Coldplay just saying hello and how excited we are as a band to be coming to the Mall of Asia concert grounds in Manila on April 4. I hope to see you there and I hope you’re well," he said, in case anyone had a little difficulty understanding him with his British accent.
Manila is part of the sixth leg of the 'A Head Full of Dreams' tour, along with other Asian cities such as Singapore, Taipei, Seoul, and Tokyo.
There have been rumors ever since that the popular rock-pop band will play in the country, but has not been confirmed until now.
Tickets for the upcoming concert will be available to the public on November 24, but there will be a pre-sale for Globe and Citibank users on November 20 up to November 22.
'A Head Full of Dreams' is the band's seventh studio album, which also shares the same name as their tour.
They have been in the industry since 1996, gaining traction in the late 90s up to the early 2000s.
They have spawned hits such as 'Yellow', 'The Scientist', 'Fix You', and many others we are sure you know the every word to.
This news has got us like these babies, who are utterly excited on just about anything.
