Derrick Monasterio reacts to censored Tsuperhero photo

Tsuperhero star Derrick Monasterio said that he does not mind his photo showing his blurred crotch area while he was wearing his tight-fitting Tsuperhero costume.
Derrick caught the attention of the audience during the press conference of the new GMA teleserye as he showed up wearing his superhero costume. Some viewers who have watched the teaser of the show observed that Derrick's crotch area was blurred.
When asked if he is worried about the controversial photo, thee Kapuso actor replied:

"No, I think hindi, kasi mas okay nang meron kesa wala. Mas maganda na yung publicity na ganun, kesa yung, 'Ay, wala.' Hindi naman ako mahihiya. Hindi ko rin naman fina-flaunt."
According to Derrick, he has no doubt in wearing his Tsuperhero costume. Derrick said that it might be the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) who requested thee blurring of certain scenes. He stated:
"Hindi naman. Actually hindi kasi parang okay lang, okay lang sa akin kasi part naman ng katawan mo, di ba?"
"Hindi ko nga rin alam, e. Siguro MTRCB," referring to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board."

Derrick shared how he was kind of having a hard time doing the fight scenes while wearing his costume. He said that his body was sweating because of the tight one-piece suit and shared how he changes clothes ten times because of the sweat:
"Yun lang talaga, underwear lang. Kahit nagte-taping ako. Mainit. Pawis na pawis nga ako, e. Nakakasampung palit ako ng damit kasi mainit talaga, nagpa-fight scene tapos balot na balot. Pero yun lang yung suot ko, naka-underwear lang tapos sinusuot ko. One-piece siya, e."
"The style itself is okay kasi unique siya. Kasi usually pag superhero, [may] cape yan, ganyan. Yung sa akin, hindi. So unique siya. Siguro yung fit lang ng costume, doon lang ako nagkaroon ng maraming concerns. Doon lang inulit ng maraming beses."
