- Pop star princess Sarah Geronimo bagged the Best Asian Performance award in the 2016 Classic Rock Awards

Pop star royalty Sarah Geronimo's remarkable talent has been recognized not only locally but also internationally. During the 2016 Classic Rock Awards held in Tokyo, Japan, Sarah won the Best Asian Performance award which she personally accepted in the awarding ceremony on November 11.
The Kapamilya singer, who was styled by Bang Pineda and his team dubbed as the Bang Bang Style Crew, performed at the Ryogoku Kokugikan Stadium singing "Anak". Fellow Pinoy singer Bamboo was also present in the event and performed as part of a lineup of artists including Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and Megadeth's Dave Mustaine.
Hollywood actor Johnny Depp also performed at the awards night as well as other musicians such as Jeff Beck, Phil Collen, Joe Elliott, Richie Sambora, and Orianthi.

Stylist Bang Pineda posted the video of Sarah's performance at the event with a caption:

The singer-actress showed off two black outfits, one was a long gown with a flirty big bow at the back while the other was an overall, the outfit she wore during her performance.

In September, the popstar princess was nominated for MTV Europe Music Awards' Best Southeast Asian Act.
In 2015, Sarah launched her award-winning 12th studio album titled "The Great Unknown" and had a back to back performance nights at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
