Kapamilya actress Yen Santos is on her way to become a superstar.

The 'PBB Teen Clash 2010' alumni has proved that she is a leading lady-in-the-making, despite having been in the business for a short period of time.

Even if her project with Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca has been shelved, she has been partnered with the ultimate heartthrob in an upcoming film.

Yen will star alongside Piolo Pascual in 'Once in a Lifetime', which they have not finished filming yet.

The two went to New Zealand to shoot some scenes, which she gushed about since she experienced a lot of firsts - the film will be her first movie, her first time to shoot outside of the country, and her first time working with Papa P.

However, she admitted that she also found it hard to work with him.

The 23-year-old beauty clarified that she did not mean it in a bad way.

"Hindi po naging madali sa akin nung una kasi natutulala po ako palagi kay Papa P. Sobrang gwapo nya po. Sobrang surreal lahat,” she confessed.

(It was not that easy for me at first because I always found myself smitten with Papa P. He's just so handsome. Everything's just been so surreal.)

Although they are halfway through filming, there is no release date yet for their 'beautiful love story'.

Aside from her impending film, she is also busy playing Clarissa Ordoñez in 'Mapaghanggang Wakas' alongside Jericho Rosales and Arci Muñoz.

Yen admitted that she is not sure if she will come between the romance of Waldo (played by Jericho Rosales) and Aryann (played by Arci Muñoz) as she is still relatively new to the storyline.

When one door closes, another one opens - which was what happened to her.

She could not be more grateful to work with Echo and the rest of the primetime cast, considering her entry to the series as a 'huge break' for her career.

We are happy that Yen has made her mark in the industry, just like these young stars who proved that their talents can take them far in the long run.
