The fourth winning piece of Montecido was “Kahit Isang Saglit” by Martin Nievera. His almost flawless rendition simply amazed the judge, which was why he received a high score of 94.4.
The daily winner, Shello de Castro, was two points away from him at 92.8. De Castro performed Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin.”
On Thursday, November 3, Montecido will be back in Showtime and once more give his best performance so that he could win his 5th, which would secure his place in the semi-finals.
It can be recalled that on Tuesday, Nov. 1, Montecido defeated Ken Mariscal, a contender from Davao who sang Ogie Alcasid’s “Ikaw Sana.” Montecido’s winning piece was “My Love Will See You Through,” which was by Marco Sison.
Montecido was also previously a semi-finalist of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1.
