After the horrible fate of his son, a retired police officer asked President Rodrigo Duterte and PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa to help him give justice to his dead son who was shot dead near their residence.
SPO4 Alfredo Jebulan, a retired intelligence officer, posted a message on Facebook which was addressed to Duterte and Dela Rosa. In the Facebook post, Jebulan expressed his grief and anger about the death of his innocent 21-year old son.
Yani Jebulan, a 3rd year psychology student from Our Lady of Fatima University in Antipolo City went out to celebrate with his friends for getting good grades in their subjects.
At around 12:38 midnight, a motorcycle-riding gunman approached them and shot Yani directly to the head.
He suffered wounds to head which killed him which his friend, Arbel Cinco, is in a critical condition for having wounds on the neck and other parts of the body.
According to Supt. Ruben Andiso, acting police chief of Antipolo, the incident occurred near a store in Sta. Rosa Road, Purok II in Peñafrancia in Cupang, Antipolo which is only a kilometer away from Jebulan’s residence.
Meanwhile, Alfredo Jebulan indicated in his Facebook message that his son was never involved in any illegal drug activity. He also emphasized that he was strict to his son when it comes to illegal activities because he was a former law enforcer and it was his job to arrest drug users and pushers.
At the end of his post, Jebulan said that he will solve the murder of his son even without the help of Duterte or Dela Rosa because as an ex-cop he is capable of taking someone else’s life, too.
