- Lena Pierce gave a birth to her child in 1933 when she was 14-year-old
- She then took care of her child for half a year and then NY state officials came to her and took her child Eva May away from her.
- Now they are meeting after 50 years of search done by Eva after her adoptive parents died when she was 21-year-old.
Eva was adopted and spent all her teenage years in an adoptive family, but her new parents died when she was 21. Since this age, she was left to herself and felt so lonely. Her aunt once told her that she had another name at birth (her parents changed her name to Betty Morrell).
Betty was searching for her mother for 50 years and finally she found her. This is a great moment of reunion. Now Pierce is over 90 and has two daughters but she is very happy to accept her first child to her new family.
