This sad truth is deeply ingrained in the Filipino society a more and more children will be seen begging on the streets, selling candies, or wiping other people’s shoes in exchange for a couple of coins.

In this video that became viral, a kid, who is probably between the ages of 8 and 10, was seen to be holding a sharp knife and cleaning fishes to earn a living.
Despite the danger of using such a tool for her young age, the girl looked as if she is already used to that kind of job.
This video is an evidence that there children out there working hard so that they could earn money to help their families. She is clearly enduring the hardship of doing such job instead of going to school and learning new things.
Many netizens were touched and concerned for the safety of the young girl. Others were enraged because her parents are letting her work at an early age.
