Chito Miranda, frontman for the famous Pinoy band Parokya ni Edgar, revealed that his wife Neri Naig is experiencing a very difficult pregnancy.
He also spoke about losing their first baby due to miscarriage.
“Very difficult talaga. Nag-miscarriage siya nung first baby namin,” the frontman said.
(It is very difficult. We had a miscarriage with our first baby.)
Due to the first miscarriage, the couple made sure to be extra careful with their second pregnancy.
“Kaya yung second, ingat na ingat na talaga siya, todo na (For the second pregnancy, she was absolutely careful). Pero wala namang naging (But she did not experience) any complication,” Miranda explained.
He added that Neri is experiencing what he considers as an “all-day sickness” due to her pregnancy. Miranda also spoke about praying together that Naig will be able to handle her labor well.
As for the adjustments due to the pregnancy of Neri, Miranda said that he is still getting used to being the one who is making breakfast for their family.
He also expressed his readiness to having a baby, saying that taking care of his nieces and nephews in the past has helped him prepare for his own child.
Chito and Neri had a civil wedding on December 13, 2014 and a formal wedding the following day in Tagaytay. They suffered a miscarriage in 2015 but were able to get pregnant again in 2016.
Parokya ni Edgar released their latest album on October 17 called “Pogi Years Old.”
