Raevin Amante Bonifacio surely has stories to tell as he and his dog Brei became viral on social media.
Raevin posted photos of a severely wounded Brei when he first took him home. He then decided to adopt him and in everyone's surprise, the helpless dog who was then close to dying has turned into a beautiful husky.
In an exclusive interview of kami.com.ph, Raevin shared the story of how he found Brei and how his love for animals became a saving grace for them.
At the age of 5, he and his mom were crossing the street one rainy day when he suddenly saw a lizard on the road. He let go of her mom's hand, picked the lizard, carried it with them, and released it after they had reached the other side of the street. Since then, Raevin discovered that he certainly has a soft spot for animals.

It was his will to help and love for animals that made him decide to adopt Brei when someone messaged him on Facebook, asking him to take home the dying dog. He then challenged himself to cure the dog and apparently, he succeeded.
Raevin currently have 6 dogs and four cats, all of which were adopted. According to him, they found them in abandoned houses, on the road, and even on the trash cans.
After his and Brei's story has gone viral, many have offered help for him to continue providing the needs of his dogs. He was completely overwhelmed with the praises and help he has been receiving.
He then left a message for dog lovers:
"Sa mga dog lovers po sana wag lang po kayo sa umpisa na mahalin 'nyo po yung aso 'nyo. Sana kahit magkaroon po sila ng helth issue wag 'nyo po silang isuko kasi tayong tao marami po tayong... May mga kaibigan tayo, mga gadgets, mga money so sila po tayong ang mayroon sila so sana mahalin din natin sila gaya ng pamilya natin."
