During his meeting with the Filipino community in Japan, President Rodrigo Duterte was not shy in bashing his critics who say that his behavior is not worthy of a statesman.
Many, including Japanese officials, have been wary of President Rodrigo Duterte's language, saying that his language is not one of a statesman. But Duterte told them to go to hell.
"Sabi nila Duterte is not a statesman, he behaves like a hoodlum. Tama ka. Ulol ka pala, ngayon mo lang nalaman?"
(They said that Duterte is not a statesman, and that he behaves like a hoodlum. They are right! They are stupid. They only realize that now?)
President Duterte has previously insulted the United States, the United Nations, and all the critics of his war on drugs.
However, Duterte's statement was met with applause. The Filipino community in Japan cheered him on.
