- A man’s friends recorded video of how convincing virtual reality has become
- In the video their friend playing a virtual reality rock climbing simulator falls flat on his face in the real world when his virtual-self loses grip and slips off a cliff
- People rushed to his aid but he stood up and seems to be totally okay
This guy’s friends recorded the moment he almost broke his nose when he put on a virtual reality headset.
In the video we see a guy with a VR headset trying out a demonstration of a game in what seems to be a mall or shopping center.
A screen in front of him shows us what he is seeing in the headset.
By looking at the screen we see that the game the guy in the video seems to be engaged in is some sort of virtual reality rock climbing simulator. The man reaches above his head to grasp at virtual wedges and crevices as he climbs higher and higher.
However, he loses his ‘grip’ and his virtual self goes tumbling down the cliff. The experience was probably extremely realistic seeing as the player himself fell face first into the ground.
People run to his aid, but he just shakes it off and tells them that he is okay, as he takes off the virtual reality headset.
