- Angel Locsin's film coincides with her friend Anne Curtis's as both star in gay-themed movies
- 'The Third Party' actress showed off her wit by mashing up the title of her film with Anne's on Instagram
- Both did not attend the 10th Star Magic Ball yesterday
Aside from reunited showbiz couples, another trend in the industry right now are gay-themed films such 'Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?!' and 'The Third Party'.
The former stars Anne Curtis, Dennis Trillo, and Paolo Ballesteros while the latter has Angel Locsin, Sam Milby, and Zanjoe Marudo as its three main characters.
The plot might be all too familiar, but the directors of each film has given it a modern twist - completely different to what everyone has watched before.
As the two actresses continue to promote their films, whose showing has overlapped each other, Angel decided to play it up a bit by mashing up their titles.
She took to her Instagram page to share the result of her quick thinking, which she captioned with the hashtag ##BakitLahatNgMayTHIRDPARTYgwapo.
It was accompanied by a picture of them laughing together in ripped clothing, which was an outtake of photographer Mark Nicdao.
Netizens' reactions to Angel's post were a mixed bag - which ranged from commending her for her witty caption, asking her why she did not attend yesterday's Star Magic Ball, and hoping that she and Anne will star together in a project.
Not only did their films come out simultaneously, the two were also not spotted at the eponymous gala.
Anne has not reacted yet to Angel's post, since she has resumed shooting for the Erik Matti-directed 'Buy Bust', which is her first foray into action films.
She even posted a clip of getting her hair cut as per the order of the acclaimed director.
Despite being in the industry for over a decade, the Kapamilya starlets are still considered as some of the most beautiful and sexiest women in the country.
Angel, in particular, is also known as a sex symbol due to her curvaceous body. However, her bust is definitely not as large as this woman who struggles with her excessive blessing.
