- Ivanka Trump broke her silence on her father’s 2005 lewd comments
- She considers them inappropiate and offensive
- The Republican presidential nominee’s daughter says she is tougher after the constant criticism her family has received
The oldest daughter of Donald Trump, Ivanka, has broken her silence regarding her father’s now infamous lewd comments made 11 years ago aboard an Access Hollywood bus. She told Fast Company they were obviously inappropriate, and she considered them offensive.
Ivanka has added that she is glad “he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people”. She spoke with Fast Company on Monday. She had denied until now to make any comments regarding the extremely uncomfortable issue.
"It's been a year and a half of enormous scrutiny, of my family, every business, every movement, action," Ivanka claimed during the Monday interview. She believes she has gotten somewhat tougher and more resilient, due to the constant attacks she states her family has received in the last months.
Ivanka has been accompanying and rallying for her father during the entire presidential campaign. She occupies a key position within Trump’s real estate business empire. Ivanka considers many things people say about her father are false. “Most of the people who write about him don't. I do," she states.
