- A teenage video streamer from Saudi Arabia got arrested for flirting with a Californian streamer
- Their hilarious videos attracted over 6.5 million viewers
- However the Saudi authorities thought that his videos were inappropriate and he might face up to 3 years of jail time for breaking the Sharia Law
A 19-year-old boy from Saudi Arabia got arrested for his ‘unethical behaviour’ after chatting with an American girl.
The video stream of the Saudi boy and the Californian girl chatting went viral. The videos of Abu Sin, 19, and Christina Crocket, 21, chatting gathered 6.5 million views on the popular live-streaming resource ‘YouNow.’
The viewers were enchanted by the extremely young looking Saudi boy, who despite his real age looks like he is about 10 years old, trying to woo the American girl.
His naïve attempts to make moves on the hot Californian coupled poor grasp of the English language make for some hilarious videos.
However, the Saudi government saw nothing hilarious in his videos and they arrested the unsuspecting teenager claiming that he broke their cyber-crime laws. A spokesperson for the Saudi police stated that he was arrested after many people have complained about his videos.
Abu Sin could face up to three years in prison for breaking the Sharia Law. He has currently been released on bail.
Much of the public is blaming Christina for Abu Sins arrest, however she claims she had no knowledge that he was breaking the law by chatting to her. Christina stated: “Obviously, I think this whole situation is totally crazy and unfair, but I don't feel I should be getting any hate for this because I have no control over it. It's not my fault that it went viral. It's not my fault that he got this fame from it or that I got it. Neither of us asked for it."
