Right before Halloween sales of all clown masks have been stopped on the internet. The cause of this is the rise of clown-related crimes that are taking the world by storm.
The administration of the retail giant ‘Target’ decided to take measures against the wave of ‘killer clowns’ that have been spreading fear across the country. Since then many companies have stopped selling the clown costumes and masks.
However, buyers will still be able to buy non-scary clown costumes. It all started when pranksters, and criminals among them, dressed as scary clowns began scaring people in the USA. Since then people on the internet have been tracing where the clown attacks happened.
Over 12 people have been arrested for killer clown attacks in the US alone. Some people think that the clown attacks could all be part of a marketing campaign for the remake of horror movie cult classic ‘It’ based on Stephen King’s book.
The attacks aren’t only happening in the US. The killer clown disease has spread across the globe. The most recent attack happened in Sweden where a criminal in a clown’s garbs attacked a 19-year-old boy in Sweden with a knife, and injured him in the shoulder.
