The administration's campaign against drugs has intensified, but has also focused on the entertainment industry.
As more drug pushers catering to celebrities have already been caught or killed, the more actors in all networks have been getting themselves tested.
Other entertainers make their opinion known regarding the matter and one of them is actor-turned-politician Richard Gomez.
On Sunday, October 16, the Ormoc City mayor took to Facebook to post his stance regarding the ongoing fight against illegal drugs.
He is not against it, but he posed a rather interesting question to everyone who is following his page.
He asked what should we do if the police are falsifying reports regarding the war on illegal drugs. What he meant was some police officers have been spreading made-up stories and incriminating others who are not really involved in the illegal drug trade.
He also answered his own question, to which he suggested that these crafty policemen should be killed. He reiterated his strong statement by repeating it and noted that they should start in their neighboring town.
He ended his post that President Rodrigo Duterte should lead them in the purge.
Only a few left comments on his posts, but they were constructive to the mayor's cause.
Richard was proclaimed as Ormoc City's mayor only this year, since he was beaten by Ondo Codilla in his first try.
He stated that he would take a break from showbiz to focus on his new role, which is evident on his recent Facebook posts. He has continuously reposted the city government's ongoing and upcoming projects on his page.
Like the father in this clip, Richard is an inspiration for he has never given up on what he wanted to do and has also shown us that we can do anything as long as we put our minds and hearts into it.
