- Mocha Uson shared a photo of a “reading material” that seems to be mocking Duterte and Mocha Uson, herself
- She claims that this is being privately given and proceeds on telling people that they shouldn’t generalize all Ateneans.
- The Matanglawin publication from Ateneo has given a statement that this is a satirical piece and students also jumped in to slam Mocha
Ever since the start of President Duterte’s election, Mocha Uson, the leader of the sexy provocative girl group has been very vocal about her support for Duterte. Now that Duterte has been elected, Mocha has been nothing if not a staunch supporter. She even has her own blog with millions of followers and even calls Duterte’s fanbase Duterte Die-hard suppoters (DDS).
She has been known to not hold back in blasting people even the Vice President Leni Robredo. Mocha also lambastes her critics on social media by answering them back on her Facebook page.
Just recently, Mocha shared a photo that she got from her “atenean friend” that shows some sort of a publication that lambastes Duterte and herself. She asked her followers for confirmation if it was true.
She also added that this particular piece is being shared secretly to students and is part of their “reading materials.” Later on, she backtracks by saying that her followers shouldn’t generalize all Ateneans because they aren’t all like that.
Matanglawin a premiere publication in Ateneo de Manila University has given their statement regarding the issue. According to them, every year, they give out a lampoon issue, which they call Tanganglawin. It aims to open the eyes of Atenean students through satire and that the reality is that the truth doesn’t come far from the atrocities they’re laughing about.
Students from all over, not just Ateneo, has quickly commented on Mocha Uson’s post stating that she’s spreading misinformation about the issue and that she should do her research first before posting stuff like this.
Regarding Uson’s statement about this being secretly passed on, students discredit that information saying that it’s being shared in broad daylight visible for anyone to see. “Get your facts right,” stated by many netizens.
Some of Mocha’s followers defended her by attacking those lambasting her, while others didn’t join the debate and gave words of support for her.
This is not the first time that Mocha Uson has been lambasted for something that she has posted on her infamous blog.
One of the other posts that received so much reaction had been this one on Vice President Leni Robredo.
