A model named Emily Skye decided to share her make-up-free selfie on Instagram to prove that no-one is perfect.
Not only was she a model, she is now known as a 'fitness guru'. However, this woman says that she has battled with depression all of her life, and encourages other women to see beyond their flaws.
Her make-up-free snaps attracted more than 14,500 likes and hundreds of positive comments, revealing that she touched a chord in women all over the world.
Her caption read: ''Perfection' doesn't exist. We are all human beings with flaws - remember that'.
'She has also stated that she was so concerned about her flaws that she was afraid to be seen without her 'mask' on - meaning without make-up to make her feel better.
The woman from the Gold Coast said that it was a matter of years before she would allow anyone to look at her being natural.
Now she says she is no longer afraid to be herself and feels more secure and confident, and also that she embraces her flaws.As a teen, she struggled with bullying, a low self-esteem and abusive relationships, and therefore would like to help others who are facing the same problems.
As someone who has faced their time being on anti-depressants, she must surely be capable of providing sound advice.
