Killer clown in Philippines gets beaten by solvent boys

- First killer clown prank in the Philippines went horribly wrong when the prankster got beaten up and robbed by its victims

- The victims-turned-suspect took the prankster’s wallet, phone, and GoPro camera

- Facebook fan page named The Clowns – Philippines emerged trying to terrorize the key cities in the country

The first “killer clown” in Philippines messed with the wrong crowd as he ended up in a hospital after he was beaten and robbed by the boys he was trying to scare.

On the night of Oct. 7, the prankster identified as Vincent Ledger, 21, decided to imitate the frightening “killer clown” mania currently happening in US and Canada. He went to Quezon City Memorial Circle trying his luck to scare a bunch of kids.

However, he chose the wrong the wrong place and victims to carry out the prank. Instead of scaring the four boys, the group started throwing rocks at him and ran after him and beat him up before taking his wallet, phone, and GoPro camera.

Fortunately, Ledger received minor wounds and nothing fatal. He is currently in Quezon City General Hospital for treatment and will be discharged today.

Upon investigation, it seemed that the boys targeted by the prankster are solvent boys or boys trying to get high by inhaling solvent.

Meanwhile, a Facebook fan page named The Clowns – Philippines surfaced and immediately garnered over 270,000 likes. The page is composed of pranksters aiming to terrorize key cities in the Philippines. The group even challenged netizens to post their cities so the group can visit them too.

In US and Canada, killer clown pranks are going on at an alarming rate. Some of the pranks have resulted to deaths. Some of the clowns lured children in the woods.
