11 Kapamilya talents celebrating their birthdays on October

October is just around the corner. A lot of people will be celebrating their birthdays, including celebrities. Let us take the time to check out some of the Kapamilya talents who will be celebrating their natal days next month.

Maja Salvador

Maja turns 28 years old on October 5. Born in Aparri, Cagayan, Maja is now one of the most-loved talents of ABS-CBN. Aside from acting, Maja loves to sing and dance, and she is also exploring other areas, like film producing and modelling.

Korina Sanchez

Celebrating together with Maja is TV host-reporter and columnist Korina Sanchez-Roxas. Korina was born in the year 1964 in Hong Kong. She first joined the TV industry in 1992. She holds a Master Degree in Journalism from Ateneo de Manila. In 2009, she married former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas.

Erik Santos

Singer Erik Santos was born on October 10, 1982. He was born Rhoderick Ramos Santos but has since used the name Erik Santos since he ventured the entertainment industry. Erik is the first grand champion of ABS-CBN’s now-defunct Star in a Million Season 1. He then became known as the Prince of Pop.

Nash Aguas

Another Kapamilya talent who is celebrating his birthday on October 10 is Nash Aguas. Nash’s complete birth name is Aeign Zackrey Nash Victoriano Aguas. Born in 1998, this hunk first appeared on TV screens when he joined Magandang Tanghali Bayan’s Batang F4. He was just 5 years old at that time. Then, years later, 2004, he once again embarked and joined Star Circle Quest where he won the Grand Kid Questor Since then, he has been receiving not only acting projects but also modeling, singing, and dancing gigs.

Sam Concepcion

Born on October 17, 1992, Sam Lawrence Lopez Concepcion started his showbiz career after he won the Little Big Star’s Season 1 Big Division on April 2006. Aside from his acting stints, Sam has also been appointed several times by different government agencies and non-government organizations, such as, the Department of Education and World Vision.

Bea Alonzo

Sharing the same birth date as Sam Concepcion is actress Phylbert Angellie Ranollo Fagestrom or better known as Bea Alonzo. This stunning actress was born in the year 1987, but she started her acting career only when she 14. Her first TV drama was Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay. From there, she began to star in different movies and teleseryes. Bea is the other half of the much-loved One More Chance couple – Popoy and Basha.

Christian Bautista

Christian Bautista's complete name is Christian Joseph Morata Bautista. He was born on October 19, 1981. Since he was a child, Christian has been into singing. It was and still is his passion. However, a few years after he became a finalist for Star in a Million Season 1, he started to venture other areas of entertainment, including acting and modeling.

Atom Araullo

Alfonso Tomas Pagaduan Araullo is a much-loved and well-respected news reporter. He was born on Octoebr 19, 1982. Atom grew up with an activist family, having spent his childhood years decrying the Marcos dictatorship. He gained recognition after his Yolanda coverage in 2013. He started with his TV career at a young age as part of Probe Production’s 5 and Up aired at GMA 7.

Charo Santos-Concio

Maria Rosario Santos y Navarro de Concio celebrates her birthday on October 27, 1955. She now serves as host of ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya. She also is Chief Content Officer of the TV Network and the President of the Network’s University. In 2008, she also became the President of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation as well as the person in charge of the entire company's business portfolio.

Nino Muhlach

Dubbed as the "Child Wonder of the Philippines", Nino was born on October 27, 1971, and was considered to be the highest-paid child actor in the entire history of Filipino cinema. Among his most known movies were Lulubog Lilitaw sa Ilalim ng Tulay (1974) and Ang Leon at ang Daga (1975). He has a long list of movies and TV shows under his belt.

Boy Abunda

Tito Boy was born with full name Eugenio "Boy" Romerica Abunda, Jr.. His birthday is October 29, 1960. He is considered as one of ABS-CBN’S long-serving host and talent manager, earning him the title as the "King of Talk." He has been open with his sexuality and has publicly admitted his long-term, 30-year relationship with Bong Quintana.
