De Lima has proof gov’t witnesses are forced by Duterte

- Senator Leila De Lima boldly released text messages that imply that Duterte and his admin are coercing witnesses to testify against De Lima

- Based on the text messages, Jaybee Sebastian refused to lie against De Lima

- One PSG and his wife are likewise being forced to sign an affidavit, the contents of which are against the lady senator

Senator Leila de Lima seems to be the only one brave enough to come out and oppose the policies and actions of President Rodrigo Duterte and his present administration.

Because of this, the lady senator said that she has been repeatedly harassed and oppressed by the government to the point that the latter had to produce witnesses whose statements have been fabricated.

To prove herself in the eyes of those who believe Duterte’s statements hook line and sinker, De Lima released text messages from very reliable sources, which show how Duterte, and his administration, are becoming desperate that they had to force people to be witnesses against her.

The text messages released by De Lima concerned two people whose names were dragged into the whole controversy. One was Jaybee Sebastian, the other was the alleged bagman of De Lima.

One text message was from the wife of Jaybee Sebastian who said that she will be talking to Jaybee and will convince him instead to be a witness against De Lima since their family is already being affected. After all, she ratiocinated that it’s just De Lima whom they need.

Jaybee’s wife also said that she hopes their kids would one day forgive them for doing something that is against their principles.

In another text message, another witness is being forced to make an affidavit and be a witness against De Lima. However, he said that he is innocent and that he has never met Colango. The text message also revealed that the guy and his wife are at headquarters and are seeking a lawyer to assist them.

In another text message, Jaybee Sebastian is said to be “matigas (unmoving)” and wouldn’t want to lie against De Lima. The text which was made September 22 was already asking for help to provide protection to Jaybee.

Coincidentally, the Bilibid riot where Jaybee was wounded happened September 28, a week after the said text message confirmed Jaybee’s adamant stand not to lie against De Lima.

Now, De Lima is angry, and has expressed her frustration and disgust against the oppression and harassment of Duterte and his administration.
