- President Rodrigo Duterte was once again criticized by the international community as Taiwanese animators created a video about him
- In the video, Duterte was portrayed as a clown who is trying so hard to get the favors of China and Russia
- Duterte was also shown killing suspected drug users and dancing to their death
Taiwanese animators have created a video that shows the character of President Rodrigo Duterte as a leader in the Philippines and how his bloody war against the illegal drug trade has been claiming lives in the country.
The Philippine leader was depicted as “a president who kisses China’s ass” and was likened to the famous “Scarface” who was a drug kingpin in a movie filled with violence and profanity and graphic drug usage.
“Duterte comes from humble beginnings as a mayor who ordered liquidation squads to kill criminals and opponents in gangland-style assaults that left about 1,000 dead,” said the voiceover in the video.
In one of the scenes, Duterte, along with the other clowns, shot many times and killed two shirtless men. After they killed them, Duterte was portrayed as dancing happily to the death of the men.
Since President Rodrigo Duterte sat into position as president of the Philippines, he has long campaigned for the eradication of the illegal drug trade in the country. The results of the campaign are impressive, with drug suspects surrendering to the police for their crimes; however this is only one side of the story.
The video goes on by narrating Duterte’s victory in the elections and how he started his campaign against illegal drugs.
“After finagling his way into the presidency, he’s taken his executions nationwide with his anti-drug campaign which has left more than 3,000 suspected drug users and dealers dead since taking over in June,” they added.
The animators also showed how Duterte used profane words against US President Barack Obama, Pope Francis, and the European Union.
“This moron thinks his allies are his enemies and that he can trust countries like China and Russia. And now he wants their weapons,” the voiceover further said.
Lastly, the video reminds viewers that Duterte must be stopped before he causes irreparable damage to the Philippines.
The video has been viewed by over two hundred thousand netizens and have received both positive and negative reactions from Filipinos.
