Lyka can be seen in the viral video singing her heart out to the tune of “Let it Go,” the popular theme song of the blockbuster Disney animated film “Frozen.” Despite her condition, the girl seems to be at peace while singing a song.

Many netizens expressed their sympathy for Lyka.

“Kawawa naman ang bata, sana naman matulungan,” a netizen wrote.

(What a poor child, I hope that we can help her.)

Other netizens posted about the failure of the government to help the child’s medical bills.

“Kawawa naman malaki laki ang pondo para sa kanila binulsa lang mg mga makakapal na gobyerno,” an online user commented.

(Such a pity, the funds for these victims are being pocketed by government officials.)

However, some online users urged others to just do their part in helping the girl instead of criticizing the previous administration all the time.

“Baket hindi kayo magdonate mismo sa pamilya kahit maliit na halaga, kung marami naman, panigurado magiging enough for surgery,” a netizen pointed out.

(Why don’t you just donate personally to the family, even just a small amount? If many netizens donate, the money might be enough to pay for a surgery.)
