With the success of their new Kapamilya teleserye ‘Till I Met You’, Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre said that her relationship with onscreen partner and boyfriend James Reid is a very happy one.
When asked how life would be without her partner James, Nadine answered immediately, “incomplete”.
After the controversial first onscreen kiss in their late night show, Nadine told their very supportive JaDine fans that the ‘kilig’ does not end there because there will be more sweet moments to come in the life of characters Basti and Iris.
“Yung journey kasi nung characters namin yung interesting. Marami pa kasing mangyayari so marami pa silang dapat abangan. It’s just the very beginning so ang dami dami pang mangyayari,” the actress explained during a press conference in their endorsement of the 7-Eleven City Blends Coffee last Tuesday in Oasis Manila.
(The journey of our characters is interesting. There will be more events so they should watch out for them. It’s just the very beginning so there is a lot to happen.)
When James was asked how he feels when they have kissing scenes, the Kapamilya actor said that being in a relationship with Nadine makes it a lot easier.
“Actually it was quite normal for us. It wasn’t like in On the Wings of Love where it was kind of weird then. But now, it just seemed natural like I was just kissing my girlfriend. For us it’s just very natural,” he said.
Nadine revealed that they were surprised when they watched the episode which showed their first kiss in the show.
“Parang four kisses yata yung pinalabas pero nung tinake namin parang two lang. So sabi namin, ‘Direk parang ang dami.’ But anyway everyone loved it so kami lang naman ang gusto lang namin was mag-enjoy yung ating millennials so they loved it naman. Of course no. Wala na kaming ilangan,” she added.
(It was like 4 kisses that was shown but we only took 2. So we said, ‘Direk, why is it a lot?’. But anyway, everyone loved it so what we only want is for our millennials to enjoy and they loved it. Of course not. We don’t get awkward with each other.)
The two Kapamilya artists were also the main characters in the very successful Primetime teleserye ‘On The Wings Of Love’.
