"Ito po ay pormal na concert na dumaan po sa tamang proseso. Sa tingin ko naman po walang masama kung ito ay PORMAL na nanggaling sa opisyal ng [Bureau of Corrections],” the singer-dancer said.

(This was a formal concert that went through the proper process. I think that there is nothing wrong if it was formally approved by an official of the Bureau of Corrections.)

Mocha Uson also confirmed the testimony of one of the inmates who testified during the House probe on the illegal drugs at the NBP that there are other artists who have performed inside the prison.

According to inmate Rodolfo Magleo, the maximum security compound of the NBP was known as a “Little Las Vegas” because of the concerts of celebrities such as the Mocha Girls, Sharon Cuneta, Freddie Aguilar and Ethel Booba.

Sharon Cuneta’s husband – Senator Kiko Pangilinan – had already clarified that her wife performed there as a part of an episode of her talk show in 2012.

Mocha Uson – one of the most vocal celebrity supporters of Duterte – accused the President’s detractors of trying to destroy her reputation by bringing up her Bilibid concert with the Mocha Girls.

"Binibigyan lamang ito ng kulay ng ibang anti-Duterte dahil kami ay suporter ng ating Pangulo,” she claimed.

(The anti-Duterte groups are just trying to make an issue out of this because we support the President.)

The performer also slammed the supporters of Sen. De Lima, saying that they are just trying to dig up issues against her because they are unable to defend the Senator from the drug accusations.
