Yesterday night's telecast of ABS CBN primetime news, TV Patrol, was heavily stuffed with anchor's opinion regarding a 75-year-old who is possibly a victim of bullet planting in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Veteran broadcast journalist and former Vice President of the Philippines said, “Hindi ito biro, sana tig iisang magpahayag ang mga kandidato sa pagkapangulo sa pangunguna ni Duterte. (This is not a joke, hope each candidate for president voice out (their piece) to be led by Duterte).”
In the closing part of the April 20 episode of TV Patrol, anchors Bernadette Sembrano, Noli de Castro and Ted Failon, bantered about the latest incident of tanim bala or bullet planting, this time involving a lady senior citizen who was now held off from flying to the U.S. with her husband -awaiting investigation of the incident.
The three anchors expressed disappointment. Failon said, "Ni hindi na nga makalakad eh. (She almost cannot walk.)"
Sembrano, called out, "Malasakit naman. (A little compassion.)"
De Castro who interjects in between his mates' speech, said that the airport chief must be sacked and that Duterte could lead among his candidates in voicing out their solutions to the international horror which has victimized a couple of foreigners.
The viral video was assumed to be a testament to De Castro's support for the mayor since the broadcaster's daughter, host Kat De Castro, is vocally supporting Duterte.
