87-year-old laundry woman struggles to earn P100 a day

A Facebook page shared a post of a netizen who posted a story of an 87-year-old laundry woman whom she met in a mall.

A certain April Amisola shared her encounter with Lola Lourdes Munoz who travels far for work in order to earn 100 pesos to spend for her meals. She then treated the old woman in a fast food chain and said that Lola Lourdes was so much thankful.

Amisola wrote in the caption: "Siya si Lola Lourdes Munoz. 87 Years Old, nakita ko siyang nakatulala sa SM kahapon. Malungkot at Mukhang Pagod na Pagod. Nilapitan ko siya at tinanong kung saan siya galing, sabi niya sa FTI daw, Naglaba. Madalas daw siyang pumunta sa SM para magpalamig at magmuni muni, pag uwi niya daw kasi sa bahay inaaway siya ng nga anak niya at hindi man lang siya pinapakain. 100 pesos nga pala ang bayad sa kanya kada laba niya. pangtawid gutom din daw kaya pinapatos niya. wala naman daw siyang ibang makuhang trabaho eh. Hayayay. Naiyak naman ako sa kwento niya. kaya ayun, dahil wala naman akong kasama kahapon nagdate nalang kami. At aba, kita niyo naman, nagrequest pa siya sakin, gusto niya daw ng Mcspaghetti at Malamig na softdrinks. Toinks. Hahahaha! Pero seryoso, naalala ko Bigla yung Sinabi ni Lord sa "Matthew 25:35-36".  Nakita ko kasi si God sa kanya."
